Project Title: Capacity Building for the European Green Deal, according to the Measures of the Local Community

Approved amount of support: 442,494.47 HRK, co-financed by the European Social Fund with a contribution of 376,120.30 HRK, and the State budget – Department for association funding, with 66,374.17 HRK.

General project objective: to ensure the development of civil society in order to create consistent social and economic growth and democratic development in Croatia.
Specific project objectives:
o Capacity building of Civil Society Organizations that are active in local communities, to implement activities modified according to local issues.
o Capacity improvement of Civil Society Organizations to provide efficient answers for the needs of the local community in crisis situations.
o Capacity building of Civil Society Organizations for immediate practice in areas financed by the European Social Fund on a local level and preparation for project applications according to the guidelines of the European Green Deal – Farm to Fork Strategy.
Project description:
The project shall enhance food donation in crisis situations and improve crisis communication. The project partners will create a manual on both topics during the workshops, distribute them to other civil society organizations, and publish them. Webinars on these topics will be organized for Civil Society Organizations. The project will transfer knowledge and skills between Civil Society Organizations and strengthen capacities for the implementation of activities modified according to local issues as well as improve capacities for efficient answers to the needs of the local community in crisis situations.
